Krystal Terwilliger - President - Krystal is a lifelong resident of SWLA, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1998. Krystal has worked for Hotard Coaches – Shuttle Division for the past 8.5 years and is currently the Director of Safety & Training and Compliance in Port Arthur, TX. For many years, Krystal looked for a krewe to join and found KBF in 2023. When she found KBF she knew she had found her Krewe. If there is one piece of advice, she could give it is to SUPPORT the ones that mean the most to you, LIVE your best life, LAUGH often, and LOVE unconditionally.
Katie Strother - Vice President
Katie Strother has been a member of Krewe de bien faire since 2020 and was the Duchess of Justice in 2022. She is employed at the Calcasieu Parish School Board. She and her youngest son compete in ballroom dancing all over the U.S. She has 5 Children and 2 grandchildren. Her favorite part of Mardi Gras is of course the king cake!
Christy Webb -Krewe Founder and Treasurer - I love celebrating the traditions of Mardi Gras while helping the community and meeting new friends.
Michael Chapman - Assistant Treasurer- I’ve loved the Krewe since day one. Knowing we wanted a down-to-earth Krewe that just wanted to have fun and do some good in the community. The Krewe has held steadfast to that mission. The Krewe has become my family and helped me thru some rough last few years. I’ll never forget that.
James Deshotel - Board Member - You are born with the ability to change people's lives that's what Krewe de Bien Faire does daily. To do good is what we do and how we roll.
Leslie LaPoint- Krewe Secretary Leslie LaPoint has been a member of Krewe de Bien Faire since 2019. She is employed by the Calcasieu Parish School Board for 23 years, and also works bingo with CCOA and BBBS for the last 20 years. She has been married to Michael LaPoint for 9 years, and has 4 children and 11 grandchildren. She loves to shoot pool with her APA pool league in her spare time, and is an avid reader. Her favorite thing about Mardi Gras is everything, especially her Krewe Family.
