Our first meeting for the new season.

Driver meeting @3:15pm -white tent behind the Civic Center

Float to be fully loaded and ready to join the lineup by 3:30pm

5pm -Parade starts -remember to unload all your stuff and cleanup begins

Royal Court to arrive early, no later than 6pm

Doors open @ 6pm

Starts @ 7pm

10:30am- Decorations and load up begins -Please do not drive up or park near the float to unload your throws. Please do not block the walkways- DJ equipment will need room to setup.

2:30pm- Float will begin to line up. Once we lined up along the seawall area ready to roll out, you will not be able to exit and reenter the float.

3:30pm- Parade starts- once returned back to the Civic Center, please make sure all belongings are removed from the float and cleanup will begin.

Guests must be at least 21 yrs old

Table assignments and setup times will be published soon.

Allowed: outside food and drinks - corkage fees will be collected at the door -cash bar available (bring cash!!!). - bring your own plates, napkins & silverware

Black tablecloths for rent on site if needed - $8

Members are responsible for their own guests.

Come cheer and show support for our 2018 Royal Court, they will parade around the arena for the last time.

 Dreams Come True is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to local children with life threatening illness.  Please volunteer or come show support and listen to some great live music.

The Krewe will have a team setup for the Crawfish cookoff to be judged @10:30am and crawfish to be sold to the public starting @11am.

Location: Burton Coliseum

Event time: 11-6pm

Volunteer: anytime between 5:30am-7pm

Come see our Royal Court in their Formal Costumes parade around the Civic Center arena along with all other SWLA Krewe Royalty.

Heroes & Villains theme

Members will be able to have their kids ride along on the float in the parade. Hero & Villain masks with accessories are encouraged.

Location: Isle of Capri Event Center

Doors will open at 7pm for members and guests then will be locked at 7:30pm for the Royal Presentation.  Following the presentation, doors will reopen with complimentary appetizers, cash bar, & D.J until Midnight.

Outside drinks or food are not allowed in the Event Center and must beat least 21 years of age to attend.

Semi-Formal to Formal attire- Hero & Villain accents are encouraged.

• Please order and pay for your food then join us in the back party room for the meeting.
• Set a plan in place for this Mardi Gras season
• Members will vote on Ball theme and Royal Court- must be current on annual dues for the 2017-18 season to vote

• Krewe of Krewe’s Parade - Float #46

  • Lineup/float decorating will be earlier (TBA), everyone is expected to help decorate before and cleanup afterward

  • ONLY Krewe members can ride the float (memberships are individual and do not cover couples/spouses, December 31, 2016 is the last day to join for 2017 Mardi Gras)

  • You must sign a waiver of liability and the parade rules of conduct in order to ride the float, anyone violating the rules will face consequences and fines as outlined by MGSW and Krewe de Bien Faire bylaws. 

  • Krewe members will have assigned numbers for spots on the float; these numbers will be assigned based on seniority and participation. 

  • We will discuss float attire at our next announced general member meeting
